About the Role
We are a leading medical communications agency creating scientific and educational content for pharmaceutical and healthcare brands. We’re looking for a sharp, detail-oriented graphic designer who can move fluidly between print and digital – someone who understands that a conference banner, a journal ad, and a scroll-stopping LinkedIn creative each demand a different visual language, but the same level of polish.
This is a hands-on design role for someone who wants to build a strong portfolio in the medical/pharma space while working across multiple brands and formats.
What You’ll Do
- Design digital assets for social media (primarily print) across multiple medical education and pharma brands — ad creatives, carousels, banners, and campaign visuals
- Create print collateral including brochures, detail aids, conference standees, posters, journal ads, and leave-behinds
- Translate complex scientific and medical content into clean, visually engaging layouts that are accurate, compliant, and on-brand
- Maintain and apply brand guidelines (typography, color palettes, grid systems) consistently across multiple client accounts
- Work with modern, trending design styles — bento/modular grids, glassmorphism, oversized typography, 3D elements — adapted to a medical/scientific context
- Prepare print-ready files (CMYK, bleed, resolution checks) and digital-ready exports (web/social specs) accurately
- Collaborate with content, medical writing, and digital teams to turn briefs into final creatives within timelines
- Manage multiple design requests across brands simultaneously without compromising quality
What We’re Looking For
- 2-4 years of professional graphic design experience; prior experience in pharma, healthcare, or medical communications is strongly preferred
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and CorelDRAW (non-negotiable)
- Solid understanding of both print production (CMYK, bleed/trim, paper/finish considerations) and digital design (social media specs, web-ready assets)
- A portfolio that demonstrates range — typography-driven layouts, infographics, brand-consistent campaign sets
- Eye for current design trends and ability to apply them tastefully to a scientific/clinical content context
- Ability to simplify dense or technical information into clear visual hierarchy
- Strong sense of color theory, grid systems, and brand consistency
- Comfortable managing multiple brands/clients and switching context quickly
- Good communication skills to interpret briefs and incorporate feedback efficiently
Good to Have
- Experience with infographics or data visualization for scientific content
- Basic knowledge of Figma or Adobe XD
- Exposure to motion graphics or short-form video editing (After Effects, Premiere)
- Understanding of medical/clinical terminology or prior agency experience
